Manik Bansal is Leader – Accounting & Transaction Advisory at Pierag Consulting, bringing over 15 years of experience across Deloitte, EY, and advisory leadership roles. His career spans complex accounting advisory, transaction support, and the development of high-performing technical teams.

At Pierag, Manik leads the Accounting Advisory Practice, overseeing a diverse portfolio of large-scale engagements across revenue recognition, lease accounting, share-based payments, and business combinations under US GAAP and IFRS. He works closely with clients navigating significant change ranging from the adoption of new accounting standards to complex transactions by helping them achieve clarity, compliance, and confidence in financial reporting.

Previously at EY, he played a key role in building a subject matter expert team focused on non-recurring and transaction-driven accounting matters. He worked closely with EY’s National Professional Practice Group in New York on complex technical areas including revenue recognition, leases, and credit impairment. Earlier, at Deloitte, he was part of the Global Centre of Excellence for IFRS Reporting, supporting audits of foreign private issuers and contributing to PCAOB inspection readiness.
