A Chartered Accountant at the age of 21 — fulfilling his mother’s dream — he soon discovered his own calling in Technology Risk Advisory, where he found the perfect intersection of analytical depth, controls, and innovation.
His professional journey began with his articleship at Dewan P.N. Chopra & Co., followed by industrial training at Gaursons India, building a strong foundation in risk, audits, and governance. Over the next 12+ years, Ankush’s career expanded across leading global organizations, including Wipro Infotech, AXA XL, British Council, and Teleperformance, before joining Pierag Consulting.
At Pierag, Ankush has been instrumental as the first member of the Technology Risk practice, playing a pivotal role in establishing and scaling the service line. His work extends across India and international markets, collaborating with teams in the US, UK, and more than 100 countries, giving him deep exposure to global regulatory landscapes and best practices.
Ankush has advised organizations on SOC 1/SOC 2, HITRUST, PCI DSS, TPRM, SOX/ICOFR, and cybersecurity frameworks, along with ERP transformation assessments for SAP, Oracle Fusion, and NetSuite environments. His engagements span Fortune 100 companies and large enterprises, including major players in banking, insurance, telecommunications, e-commerce, and aviation.
